Student-Help or Work-Study?

What is a "work-study" job?  Work-study is a financial-aid based job.  If awarded, you may work in any WSU department that offers employment through work-study.  Some off-campus work-study positions are available as well.  Check with Financial Aid to determine your eligibility.

What is a "student-help" job?  Student-help is funded by individual departments on campus.  Positions are available campus wide and all students are eligible to be employed as student-help.

Are there other resources that I could use to find a local or area job within driving distance of the campus?

Many of the personnel services offer free help in matching up a job that fits your class schedule. They have full-time, part-time, seasonal and flexible work schedules.   Go to our Area Job Links page for a list of local job agencies.
