Medical School Admission Requirements
The requirements of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities are typical of most medical schools: five semesters of chemistry (212, 213, 350, 351, 400), two semesters of biology (241, 242), two semesters of physics (221, 222), a semester of calculus (MATH 160), two semesters of English, and four semesters of social sciences/humanities. Premedical students should seek the advice of a pre-med advisor and should consult the catalogs of the medical schools of their choice for school-specific course requirements.
The Medical College Admission Test is also required for admission to most Medical Schools as is the completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree.
