WSU NMR Project - Undergraduate Research

Wilson Group

WSU Biology Professor Ted Wilson and his research students are using P-31 NMR to study the effect of epinephrine on worms. Dr. Nalli has assisted with the NMR portion of the project. The intensity of the phospholombricine resonance relative to other phosphate resonances is being monitored in treated vs non-treated worms.

Undergraduate students who have worked on this research, their project titles, and the semester they worked on it are listed below:

Deepa Rai and James McNamee Effect of Norepinephrine on Earthworm Metabolism using 31P NMR - Examination of Varying Drug Dose (Spring 2005)

Leah Tucker and Erin Haase Effect of Norepinephrine on Earthworm Metabolism using 31P NMR (Fall 2004)
