Chemistry Premedical Curriculum at WSU
Chemistry is a perfect major for students who plan to go on to medical, dental, or veterinary schools. Recent medical school admissions statistics suggest there might even be a competitive advantage to majoring in chemistry instead of biology.
At WSU, Pre-Medical students majoring in chemistry may choose any of the chemistry major options. However, the Biochemistry Option lends itself most strongly toward this goal because it combines course work in biology, chemistry, physics and math that are all requirements for admission to medical schools.
