- "US Electives" should be chosen to satisfy University Studies requirements.
- For the University of Minnesota, two of the US electives should be 300-400 level courses in Humanities and Psychology.
- "PreMed Electives" may be helpful in Med School or in preparing for the MCAT. Recommended courses are: MATH 250, PSY 250, BIOL 201, BIOL 323, BIOL 409
- "CHEM elective" should be chosen from Chemistry 414, 415, 426, 427, 438, 439, 447, 451
