The Southeast Minnesota Analytical Service
The Southeast Minnesota Analytical Service (SEMAS) is a student-staffed certified analytical laboratory directed by Dr. Jeanne L. Franz and co-ordinated by Barb Keller at Winona State University. Over the years it has employed dozens of WSU Chemistry majors, who gained valuable real-world laboratory work experience.
SEMAS has long offered routine water analyses to the citizens and industries of southern Minnesota. It now also offers; high-field NMR spectroscopy of organic samples.
