NCATE Accreditation

WSU College of Education Program Accreditation

Winona State University's teacher education programs are fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Minnesota Board of Teaching (BOT).

              

The Counselor Education program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP).

 

The Maxwell Children's Center is currently seeking accreditation from the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, an affiliate of NAEYC.

**The Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) provides program standards to NCATE. The ELCC is composed of four NCATE constituent member associations: AASA , ASCD , NAESP , and NASSP .
