Field Herpetology Course:  This spring I’ll be teaching a week-long herpetology course at the Pigeon Lake Field Station (May 20-27).  If enrollment isn’t high enough, the course may not happen…so if you know of any students at the USGS or USFWS that are looking for credits this summer, please tell them about the course.  Or if you know of any of your co-workers that deal with students regularly, could you please forward them this information.  Also, here is the field station’s website, with more information.
http://www.uwrf.edu/pigeonlake/courses.html
It’s a great opportunity for students to be completely immersed in a particular taxa (including a lot of field surveys and species identification), which is a great way to learn!
