On-Campus Housing

To make residential life at Winona as fulfilling an experience as possible for you, we offer a variety of activities, programs, and styles of residence halls. Living on our compact campus not only puts you within minutes of classes, labs, the library, gym, student commons, and dining hall - it even, more importantly, fosters a great sense of camaraderie within each hall and within the individual floors.

Residence Halls

Coed or a single-gender hall for women; a suite or a traditional residence hall room; a unique residential community based on the Ivy League model - at Winona, we give you the option of choosing your preferred type of living arrangement. All Winona residence halls offer rooms with phone hook up cable connection and Ethernet connections to the Internet and e-mail for every occupant, as well as a fitness center, 24-hour computer lab, and kitchen facilities. Each hall is managed by a full-time professional director, assisted by upper-class students. Because on-campus housing is limited, upper-class students are encouraged to live in apartments in the community. Food on your mind? We offer a variety of dining options to suit your taste: an all-you-can-eat plan in the on-campus dining hall and Lourdes Hall, as well as dining options from the snack bars in Kryzsko Commons and Lourdes Hall.

Residential College
Our residential college is an innovative academic program that brings students and faculty together within and beyond the classroom.  Students join a Living and Learning Community centered on an exciting theme.  Students will take key classes with peers who share their interest and residence hall.  Themes include Gender and Culture, Globalization, Human Beginnings and Endings, and the Mississippi River.  What's more, students will benefit from a learning community that welcomes interesting speakers and talented performers in activities that are designed to spark conversations and encourage learning-focused dialogue around the clock-not just during the hour they are in class.
