Campus Media

The WSU Update is the primary internal communication tool for WSU. During the academic year it is distributed daily via e-mail to all students, employees, retirees and friends of the university.

The WSU Events Calendar contains a comprehensive online listing of campus events.

Winona Currents, the university magazine, is published by University Advancement and distributed to more than 40,000 alumni and friends of WSU.

The Winonan began in 1922 as the official student newspaper of Winona State Teachers College. Today, the paper is published weekly during the academic year and all employees are WSU students.

KQAL 89.5 FM is the only full service, independent radio station in Winona. The station is operated by the WSU Mass Communications department and staffed primarily by student volunteers.

Winona360 is a multimedia news and information Web site produced by the WSU Mass Communications department. Winona360 is a laboratory for students to learn and produce new media that engages and serves the Winona region.
