How do I get in to Lambda Pi Eta?
Every year, the club looks over all the majors and minors in Communication Studies at Winona State, and then sends them invitations to join the club if they fit the eligibility requirements.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Students are required to have completed 60 credit hours (usually a junior), twelve of which must be communication studies courses; Students must have a 3.25 GPA in communication studies courses they have taken. Students must be enrolled full time and be in good standing with a program (like the one at WSU) with an active chapter.
What's in it for me?
Members of Lambda Pi Eta participate in activities with Communication Studies faculty and the Communication Club, as well as conduct their own activities. Since Lambda Pi Eta is an academic honorary society, it looks really good on a résumé, and can help you network with other alumni to enhance your connections for future education and/or careers in the communication field You get to learn the secret Lambda handshake!!!!
How often do you meet?
Meetings Mondays at 5:30-6:30 pm

Will I be required to go to every meeting and event?
Member attendance at meetings and events are encouraged, but isn't required (except for officers!).
