Young boy playing with Legos

Lego Mindstorms: June 13-17, 2016

Lego Mindstorms offers young students the opportunity to work with the Lego NXT technology in order to design, assemble and program robots. Eric Paulsen, 4th grade teacher in the STEM program at Jefferson Elementary School in Winona, has facilitated this program since 2010.

This is a half-day camp for students entering grades 4-8 in the fall. Tuition is $145 for the week. All students attend the morning session (8:30-11:30am). Mr. Paulsen is able to accommodate beginning students as well as advanced students, and the robots no longer need to be disassembled each day.

Campers meet at the Tau Center (511 Hilbert St.) on Winona State University’s West Campus.
