Robotics Workshop

July 9-12, 2013

The Robotics Workshop provides students entering grades 9-12 an opportunity to work with the RidgeSoft IntelliBrain Bot Educational Robot under the instruction of  Faculty member Gary Bunce (Computer Science Dept).

Prior programming with Java is helpful but not necessary; good problem solving skills from mathematics or other science courses usually help students quickly adapt to using Java. The workshop begins with an overview of the Java structures that will be used.

This 4 day workshop has day and residential options.

  • Residential students stay in double occupancy rooms in a traditional residence hall under the supervision of Camp & Conference Services staff - housing and meals are included in the $250 registration fee.
  • Day option (instruction only) is $150.

Camp is held on Winona State University’s main campus.
