Community Resource Guide
Being a part of the WSU community ushers you into the larger community of the city of Winona. There are many resources here outside the University, and you are encouraged to explore them. Winona is also a wonderful place for outdoor activities, so please check out the City of Winona web links. Below is a partial list of support groups, volunteer opportunities, and outside mental health agencies. A more complete list can be found in the Winona Yellow Pages. Because the WSU Counseling Center is designed for short-term counseling, students are referred to a counselor in the community if longer-term counseling is in the student’s best interest.
