Out of Darkness Community Walk

Help us create a world without suicide. The Winona Out of the Darkness walk will be on Sunday, Oct. 5 at  Lake Lodge, 113 Lake Park Dr. Check-in will be at 8:30am and the walk will begin at 9:15am. The registration deadline is 1pm on Oct. 3.

National Depression Screening Day

National Depression Screening Day is Thursday, Oct. 9. On Wednesday, Oct. 8 a panel discussion about depression will be held at 3pm in IWC 138. Then on Thursday, stop by Kryzsko Commons Rooms 247-249 from 11:30am-1:30pm to take an anonymous mental health screening assessment.

Wednesdays with Winston (WSU's therapy dog), Wednesdays from 4-5pm in IWC 222

Lonely? Homesick? Stressed? Depressed? Missing your dog? Want to meet others? Winston, WSU's Therapy Dog, will be co-facilitating a weekly pet therapy support group for general concerns and well-being.

PATCH (Positive Action Toward Changing Health), Mondays from 4-5pm, IWC 222

PATCH is a support group for WSU and SE Tech students with chronic health concerns. This support group is sponsored by the Counseling and Wellness Services and is open to any student who has a chronic health condition including but not limited to Crohns, Diabetes, Lymes, neurological concerns, and Lupus.

The group will meet Mondays from 4-5pm in IWC 222, beginning Sept. 22, 2014.
