The Inclusion & Diversity Office welcomes you to our website where you will find information about our current staff, programs and services, scholarships, cultural diversity and outreach, cultural clubs, a calendar of events, and a bi-annual newsletter. Winona State University and the Inclusion & Diversity Office are committed to cultural diversity and support the following initiatives as part of the mission:
Promoting and celebrating the understanding of cultural and ethnic heritages of African Americans, Hispanic/Latino Americans, American Indians /Native Americans and other diverse groups and cultures at WSU
Increase the enrollment and retention of culturally diverse students to help facilitate the academic life of students of color along with the retention of faculty and staff members enhance curriculum development through the inclusion of multicultural perspectives provide resources for intercultural campus and community initiatives; and promote the understanding of issues relating to race, ethnicity, culture, gender, age, sexual orientation, ability levels, socioeconomic status, and religion.

The ultimate goal of Winona State University's commitment to cultural diversity is to collaborate with academic, non-academic, and community entities to provide a foundation and the tools to our community of learners dedicated to improving the world to be successful living in a global society.
