The semester immediately following
acceptance into the program, students take two courses:
- Human Development and Learning
- Instructional Planning and Assessment

Secondary and K-12 students includes:
EDUC 308 Human Relations
EDUC 429 Secondary Reading and Teaching Strategies
EDUC 449 Middle School Philosophy and Organization
EDUC 459 Professional Educator (taken just prior to Student
Teaching)

K-6 Middle School Specialty students includes:
