Welcome to the Grad Standard Website
at Winona State University. This site is intended as a resource
link for a variety of potential users including preservice teachers, university faculty, and K-12
faculty from area schools. We have designed the site
to be as user friendly as possible and to work seamlessly with
other web-based resources on state standards. The three column
navigation chart at the top is part of that effort.
The green
links in the left hand column of the chart
provide foundation information on what the standards entail.
More detailed information on each of the components is available
at the CFL website.
The tan links in the middle column of the chart provide information
on the history of the grad standards in Minnesota, what's been
happening at WSU, and samples of standards-related work by WSU
students.
The yellow links in the right hand column of the chart include links
to sites where you can find full details about the grad standards
system, and data analyses of which allow on-lilne users to create
comparisons across districts and demographics. The bottom right
hand cell provides contact information for K-12 and college faculty
wishing to obtain materials and assistance related to implementing
the grad standards system.
Finally, a purple link has been established
for the education standards outlined by the Wisconsin state legislature.
Our hope is that this resource provides
necessary information and clarification for persons trying to
understand, implement, and refine the high quality learning opportunities
our students deserve. If you don't see something you are looking
for, please drop us a note.
