What is the Conversation Partner Program?

    The English Language Center is always looking for volunteers to serve as conversation partners to incoming international students who are polishing their English and learning more about American culture.

    Become a conversation partner with a Winona State international student today and gain a new perspective on world cultures first-hand while making a life-long connection.  As a conversation partner, you are invited to join ELC activities and receive recogniton for your participation.

What's New?

    This semester, conversation partners are asked to attend Conversation Partner Nights every other Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Alumni House for homemade dishes that feature food from many cultures and conversation with students from South Korea, Saudi Arabia, China, and Turkey.
