Saeed Ziaee
Assistant Professor

Ph.D., Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Texas at Austin

Saeed Ziaee is an Assistant Professor of Composite Materials Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in 1995 in Polymer Science and Engineering from the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin. His doctoral work was on “Investigation of Polymer Miscibility Using Analog Calorimetry.” Dr. Ziaee was a post-doctoral fellow and associate researcher at the University of Delaware’s Center for Composite Materials from 1996 to 2001. During this time, his research included study of phase separation during resin cure, formation and characterization of interphase region in composites, blends of thermoplastics with thermosets, and thermoplastic composites. He has also been a co-advisor on several undergraduate and graduate projects at UD-CCM.
