With degrees from Edgewood College, Madison, WI, and St. Mary's College (now St. Mary's University), Winona, Prof. Galbus has taught at Winona State University since 1980.

She teaches various composition courses and has experience teaching students from grades 6-16 as well as classes in adult education. Her special interests are American Literature and working with students who are preparing to be teachers. She is a continuous student, taking occasional courses and attending workshops which relate to the courses she teaches and her areas of interest.
