Mark Johnson earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002 and his M.A. from Winona State University in 2004.  He is working toward his law degree at William Mitchell, in St. Paul.

Although primarily an instructor for English 111, he also teaches English 099, 112, 210, 211, 226, 439, and Orientation 100.  Johnson was the Interim Director of Public Information at Winona State University, taught high school in Wisconsin, and managed a supermarket for four years.

He is married to Michelle, and they have a daughter, Ariel.
