Academic Year: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Summer: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. A fixed asset is property (other than buildings and land) that COSTS $5,000 or more, including tax and shipping charges, has a normal useful life expectancy exceeding two years, and maintains its identity while in use. In addition, all fire arms and computers (regardless of cost) are to be included in the Winona State University Fixed Asset Record Managment System.
