Hall of Fame - Operational

1. Committee Charge: The committee reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and has the following responsibilities:
        1. Review the standing rules for intercollegiate athletics for the appropriate conference; 
        2. Review those policies against the policies of WSU to insure that the University is 
            meeting all standards;
        3. Recommend any necessary changes to insure compliance;
        4. Subgroups may be formed to deal with more specific matters.
        During WSU's history, many athletes, coaches, athletic directors and faculty
        representatives have contributed to the distinction of the University. To honor these 
        people, Winona State developed an Athletic Hall of Fame. The purpose of this
        organization is to pay tribute and give recognition to those people who have shown
        distinctive, unique or exceptional ability while on campus and since graduation.
2. Committee will elect a chairperson.
3. There is no formula for the term of office.
4. Director of Athletics will call the first meeting.
5. Composition: 5 IFO, 1 ASF, 1 AFSCME, 2 Council of Administrators, 1 Student, Faculty Athletic Representative, Director of Athletics, Compliance Officer, Alumni Director, 1 Alumni Association, 1 Warrior Club, 1 WSU Foundation, 2 Community Representatives  (1 Ex-Officio: Director of Athletic Development)
