Financial Aid and Satisfactory Academic Progress (Title IV) - Mandated

  1. Committee Charge:
        1.
    To hear any student residency appeal after denial by the Admission's Office and make 
            a recommendation to the President for final decision.
        2.
    To serve as check point to determine which students should be receiving financial aid 
            and which students should not be receiving financial aid.
        3.
    The committee will meet as a group, minutes will be taken and approved by the
            committee.  The students appealing will be informed in writing of the results within a
            few days after the committee meeting.
  2. Committee will elect a chairperson.
  3. There is no formula for the term of office.
  4. Financial Aid Director will call the first meeting.
  5. Composition: 1 IFO, 1 ASF, 1 AFSCME, 1 Council of Administrators, 1 Student, 1 Coalition  (2 Ex-Officio: Financial Aid Director and Admissions Director)
