Gender Issues Committee
A. Committee Charge: The overall function of the University-Wide Gender Issues Committee shall be to
increase awareness of gender issues both on campus and within the community. It shall also collect
information and data to further the understanding gender concerns on campus. Such activities could
include, for instance, examining the University for inequities in employment and in its support systems.
The Sexual Assault Advisory Committee is a subcommittee of Gender Issues.
B. Committee will elect a chairperson.
C. Committee members will serve a one year term.
D. The Council of Administrators will call the first meeting.
E. Composition: 2 IFO from the IFO Feminist's Issues Committee (1 male, 1 female), 1 ASF, 1 AFSCME,
1 MAPE, 1 Council of Administrators, 2 Students (1 male, 1 female)
