Judicial - Mandated

Committee Charge:
1. Insure due process.
2. Hear and investigate charges against student(s) of the University community that are
brought forward by the University Conduct Officer (UCO).
3. Hear appeals that are referred by the UCO.
4. Insure that the student(s) rights are protected.
5. Determine if the student(s) rights were violated.
6. Determine if the student(s) allegedly violated the WSU Conduct Code.
7. Make recommendations regarding disciplinary sanctions, when appropriate, to the
UCO or his or her designee.

Committee will elect a chairperson.

All faculty/staff members and two student members, from any grade level, will serve a two-year term. Four students, one from each grade level, will serve a minimum one-year term. The UCO (or his or her designee) will serve as an ex-officio member.

Affirmative Action Officer will call the first meeting.
