Student Services Committee
A. Committee Charge: This committee reports to the VP Life and Development and is responsible for
the following:
1. To explore alternatives for expansion of faculty and staff participation in residence hall programs and
student events.
2. To review policies, procedures, budgets, and staffing of campus security and make recommendations
regarding campus security and student conduct.
3. To promote student/community cooperation on issues of Town and Gown involving students.
4. To review policies and procedures relating to the operation of Health Services, Kryzsko Commons and
the Child Care Center.
5. To explore new alternative systems for working with students demonstrating chronic psychiatric
problems or on-going behavioral disorders.
6. Review and work with "Bookstore Policies/Issues"
B. Committee will elect a chairperson.
C. There is no formula for the term of office.
D. The Council of Administrators will call the first meeting.
E. Composition: 3 IFO, 2 ASF, 1 AFSCME, 1 MAPE, 1 Council of Administrators, 2 students, 1 Coalition,
and Child Care Director.
