Wellness Committee
A. Committee Charge:
1. Identify existing University resources, activities and programs which promote overall well-being."
2. Assess the University's needs and priorities for wellness resources and programming;
3. Promote the community's awareness of and involvement in wellness activities and programs;
4. Develop a comprehensive and responsible plan to address the University's ongoing wellness
programming needs.
5. Committee reports to the President. (Chair will meet with President in the early fall to discuss
committee agenda and in spring to present a report.)
B. Committee will elect a chairperson.
C. There is no formula for the term of office.
D. The Council of Administrators will call the first meeting.
E. Composition: 6 IFO, 2 ASF, 2 AFSCME (1 clerical and 1 maintenance staff), 1 Council of
Administrators 2 Students (3 Ex-Officios: Human Resources Director, Safety Director or Safety Committee
Representative, Health Services Representative).
