1. Committee Charge: The charge of the Residential College Steering Committee is to oversee the implementation of the cluster system, to debate and make policy on learning‑living community issues, to discuss and implement a system for assessing the success of the Residential College, and to discuss new initiatives.  In addition, the Steering Committee will also assist in the recruiting for the Residential College programs and will seek ways to further implement the idea of clusters on the main campus should that prove desirable.   The Steering Committee will not take actions, which infringe upon the faculty's responsibility to propose and develop curriculum.
2. The chairperson shall be the Residential College Director.
3. IFO and students shall serve one-year terms.
4. The Residential College Director is responsible for scheduling and convening meetings of the Steering Committee.
5. Composition: Residential College Director (Committee Chair), 4 IFO, 4 Students, Dean of College of Liberal Arts, Director of Admissions, Director of Advising and Retention, Registrar, Residence Life, Hall Director(s), University Studies (Director or Designee), Communication Studies (Chair or Designee), English Department (Chair or Designee)
