The Finance program at WSU helps students understand and appreciate financial markets, including the various institutions, exchanges and instruments at the national and international level.
Students gain knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in a variety of rewarding careers in the areas of corporate finance, investments, and the management of financial institutions.
Students expand their learning with courses in accounting, business administration, economics, and mathematics.
Courses in liberal arts enhance writing, research, and communication skills.
Graduates are well prepared for graduate education if they decide to pursue an MBA degree at some point in their future.
“Finance is a challenging but exciting degree! You are required to learn a great deal of knowledge about the stock market, the present and future value of money, and basically just about everything you can and should do to make the most of a dollar. These are things that you will not only carry on into your career, but in your personal life as well.”
