User ID and Password Information

 

Federal PIN Number:

The federal PIN number is your electronic signature that allows you to sign your FAFSA and your Federal Direct Master Promissory Note (MPN) online.  It also provides you access to your personal records, so you should never give your PIN to anyone.  The PIN application is for students and parents who want to apply for a Federal Student Aid PIN.  To apply visit www.pin.ed.gov

If you have lost your PIN number, go to www.pin.ed.gov and request a duplicate PIN.  You do not need to apply for a new PIN number. 

WSU Warrior ID and Password:

Your Warrior ID# is given to you when you register for classes for the first time. After you have registered for classes, you can use this identifier to conduct most business at WSU.

WSU Network Username and Password:

You are not assigned your username and password until you are registered for classes at WSU.

It is usually given out at the training session when students pick up their laptops. The majority of graduate students do not lease laptops so they need to contact WSU Tech Support to get this information. You will use your WSU network username and password to access your email and the wireless network. 

StarID and Password:

You are assigned a StarID when you are registered for classes at any MnSCU campus, including WSU. Once you activate your StarID, you will use it to access ISRS and D2L Brightspace, ISRS is the program you will use to register for classes, housing, and to view the student dashboard. You will use D2L Brightspace to find out course information and other resources your instructors may have set up for a class.
