Larry Price teaches jazz piano, directs one of the jazz combos and teaches jazz improvisation. He is a multi-talented instrumentalist, having cut his teeth on Dixieland clarinet and saxophone before becoming a pianist. He's studied jazz at the University of Miami and the Conservatory of Music in Luxembourg. While in Europe he not only performed with big bands, singers and a gospel choir, but also developed a taste for fine cuisine (Italian is his favorite). Price has won the jazz performance prize for piano at the Trier Jazz Symposium three times. He continues to play numerous engagements in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
