Ray Dretske

Saxophonist Ray Dretske coaches the sax section of the Winona State jazz ensemble and has also taught jazz combo. He has toured the U.S. extensively performing and teaching music technology and composition in schools and universities. Ray was a roster artist with the Minnesota State Arts Board for many years and a keynote speaker at state, regional and national educational conferences.
He has composed and produced music for TV, radio, CD-ROM, theater, films and commercials. Ray's performing and recording credits include: Steve Allen, Ronnie Milsap, Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons, Norm Crosby, John Davidson, Sandler and Young, Dallas Jazz Orchestra, Pete Petersen and the Collection, Colleen Pandis and Decade, Danny Gans, Irving Texas Symphony, and others.
Ray is also President and CEO of an internet software company called rSchoolToday that creates web applications for schools. He has a Bachelor's degree in music from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas.
