Internship Opportunities

During Fall Semester 2008 the Global Studies Program received a special grant of $3000 from the University to set up internships for its majors. The program has succeeded in securing the following internships for summer 2008.

Shanghai Industries Group in Shanghai China in partnership with Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, Wisconsin.

Two five-week internships for global studies majors in July/August. Sarah Sherar and Mai Lor have been selected for these internships.

Minnesota International Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One internship.

Ashley Bonine has been accepted for this internship and she will begin in May, 2008.

Japan America Society of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota (JASM) One internship.

Joe Erickson has been accepted for this internship and he will begin work in May, 2008.
