Campus Food Systems
The Campus Food Systems subcommittee is working on building a partnership between Chartwells and local farmers. Chartwells is the vendor that WSU uses for their food supply. They have asked the members of the Land Stewardship Project to help recruit local farmers who may be interested in selling their products to WSU in the future.  picture of students working on herb garden
Students in spring semester Biology 351, an agroecology course, planted an herb garden behind Pasteur Hall. These fresh herbs will eventually be used by WSU dining services starting in the fall semester 2008.
