Well-labeled stations, including beverage, fiber and garbage bins, were purchased and strategically placed in all campus buildings. An Event Recycling system for indoor and outdoor use was also purchased for events campus-wide.
- Established the WSU RecycleMania competition, a benchmarking tool and national competition among colleges and universities to promote waste reduction and recycling in campus communities. In 2008-2009, two students in a HERS program planning class helped plan and execute this project.
