Women's Health Clinic
Birth control counseling and gynecological examinations for routine pelvic examinations and pap smears are available by appointment.
To make an appointment for a gynecological exam and/or obtain contraception you must do the following:
- Call the Student Health Services at 507-457-5160 to set-up an appointment.
- If you need to have a gynecological examination only without getting birth control, you do not need to complete the online contraceptive class.
- If you need to have a gynecological examination and/or wish to obtain or refill a prescription for contraception, complete the Online Contraceptive Class. You must then fill our the post-quiz and bring the copy with you to your appointment. There are NO exceptions to this requirement, regardless of the reason for obtaining a contraceptive method.
There is a cancellation notification policy for GYN exams. Call as soon as you are aware that you cannot keep the scheduled appointment so the open appointment is available to others.
If you do not keep the appointment and have not notified the Student Health Services prior to the appointment, you will be charged $5.00.
