e-CHUG

What is e-CHUG?

  • e-CHUG is an interactive web survey that allows college students to enter information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their use of alcohol. The assessment takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and is self-guided.

What does it do?

  • When you access the e-CHUG, you are prompted to enter information about yourself. In addition to demographic information, it will ask you to enter information about your drinking habits, family history, and to complete the World Health Organization’s AUDIT.

After all information has been entered, you submit the form. The information you entered is then validated and processed. The e-CHUG calculates a number of variables and compares your responses to national and local college norms. Then, your personalized feedback is displayed in an easy-to-read format.

Instructions for completing e-CHUG:

  • You will need a computer with Internet access and a printer (to print the feedback)

It will take about 10-15 minutes to complete the survey.

  • Once you have completed the survey, you must complete the personal reflections section. This section consists of 4-5 questions for you to answer.

  • Once you have completed the survey and the personal reflections section, print the feedback form and certificate of completion.

  • Email Danielle Anderson to set up a 30-minute appointment to discuss your results. Bring the feedback form to the appt.

  • To complete your sanction you must finish e-CHUG  and meet with someone from Health Promotion.

e-TOKE

What is e-TOKE?
