Insurance

Students are strongly encouraged to carry health insurance. Insurance is available through Mega Life and Health Insurance (1-800-767-0700), designed especially for the students attending Minnesota State Colleges, Community Colleges, and Technical Colleges and is available for both Domestic and International Students attending Winona State University.

You may also get the Mega Life and Health Student Insurance brochure and enrollment form online by going to their website below.  To enroll you can go online or fax the form using a credit card.  You may also pay by check or money order by sending the enrollment through the mail with your payment.

Other Insurance Coverage:
When using the health service, you will receive an itemized insurance form  to submit to your insurance company if you carry an alternate  insurance other than Mega Life and Health Insurance.  WSU does not do third party billing for any insurance other than the Mega Life and Health Insurance. You will be billed for any charges incurred during your visit, payable at the Cashier’s Office in Somsen. You must submit the itemized bill and your receipt to your insurance company to receive compensation.
