Henrietta Gerth Scholarship

Even after her death, the Admissions legend continues helping students

After working at WSU for 39 years, "Henri" became known for her smiles, hugs and affectionate laughter, her polka music and Twins games broadcasts, her teased hair, flashy multi-colored coat, and her uncanny ability to track down people and information.

Students who worked with Henri in Admissions received her guidance and advice for managing their new lives as adults, their relationships, and help with family and budgeting issues.

It's no surprise that "the little lady with biggest heart in the world" continues her legacy of helping WSU students through the Henrietta Gerth scholarship.
