HERS Scholarship applications require a typewritten essay of 500 words or less, focusing on your reasons for choosing your major and how you plan to contribute to your chosen profession.  Also include a current transcript.  Please check individual scholarship qualifications and criteria for other requirements.

Athletic Training Alumni Scholarship-$500.00
Qualifications of Recipients
Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at Winona State University.
Each recipient must be classified as a senior and be in good standing at Winona State University with a grade point average (g.p.a.) of 2.75 (4.0 = A).
Each recipient must be a declared major in Winona State University’s Exercise & Rehabilitative Sciences: Athletic Training Program.
Each recipient must be accepted into the Athletic Training Program and must meet all current application, selection, and retention standards of the program.
Each recipient must be in financial need as demonstrated through the Financial Aid Office
Each recipient must demonstrate leadership by their involvement in WSU’s Student Athletic Training Club or other University or community service organizations.
Each recipient must submit a 1-2 page narrative describing qualifications and future professional goals/objectives.
Each recipient must provide a current transcript and resume.

    Joyce O. Locks Scholarship- $500.00 (Teaching Option Only)

    James & Margaret Browning Scholarship- $500.00

    Luther & Mildred McCown- $300.00
    Qualifications of Recipients:
    Each recipient must b an undergraduate student enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) at WSU.
    Each recipient must be classified as a shophomore, junior, or senior, andbe in good standing at WSU with a minimum GPA of 3.0
    Each recipient must be a declared major in WSU's HERS program. 

    Randolph W. Miller Scholarship- $500.00
    Qualifications of Recipient:
    Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled at Winona State University.  The scholarship is open to students enrolled in internships and/or graduating seniors.
    Each recipient must have at least 70 semester hours and be in good standing at Winona State University with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (4.0 = A).
    Each recipient must be a declared major in Winona State University's Exercise & Rehabilitative Sciences Programs.
