Scholarships

Please use the online scholarship application to apply for the following HERS scholarships
 
Luther & Mildred McCown    
Recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at WSU with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Applicant must be classified as a sophomore, junior or senior and a declared major in WSU’s HERS programs.

James & Margaret Browning
Recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at WSU with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Applicant must be classified as a junior or senior and a declared major in the field of Health Promotion.

Joyce O. Locks 
Recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at WSU with a minimum GPA of 3.25.  Applicant must be classified as a junior or senior and a declared major in the field of Health Promotion: School Health (Teaching).

Randolph W. Miller        
Recipient must be an undergraduate student at WSU with at least 70 semester hours and a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Applicant must be a declared major in WSU’s Athletic Training or Exercise & Rehabilitative Sciences Programs.

Athletic Training Alumni Scholarship   
Recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at WSU with a minimum GPA of 2.75.  Applicant must be classified as a senior and be a declared major in WSU’s Athletic Training Major.  

Loren Benz & Mark Patterson Family Wellness
Recipient must have graduated from high school in Winona, Houston, Fillmore, Wabasha, Olmstead, Mower, Dodge or Goodhue counties.  Applicant must be a declared HERS major with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and  a member in good standing and participating in some manner on a WSU varsity intercollegiate team.
