Proposed Revision to Psychology 210: Introduction to Psychological Science

This project will develop a repository of active learning assignments appropriate for Psychology 210. Individual faculty members will be encouraged to create activities, share with their colleagues, and to adopt new activities that fit within their teaching style for the course. In addition, this project will develop an assessment plan across all sections of Psychology 210 and examine institutional data with regard to student performance in Psychology 210. Specifically the Co-PIs will look for correlates of student success that will help them to understand the DWF rate for freshmen vs. sophomores. Finally the project will also explore ways to enhance the course for students planning to major in Psychology.
