Residence Hall Move-In - Tuesday, August 19th!

To help with your move-in experience, please watch for the Welcoming Warriors!  The Welcoming Warriors are students, staff, and faculty volunteers that want to make your first WSU experience a GREAT one!  Watch for them in their purple t-shirts as they will be helping with traffic control, unloading vehicles, and offering to help you move into your new home!

All residence halls (except the East Lake Apartments) will open at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2008.  You may check into your residence hall room between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the 19th.  Keys can be picked up at the check in table of the hall you are assigned to.  Please watch for signs!

** East Lake Residents may begin checking in on Friday, August 15th at 9:00 AM at the East Lake Front Desk in building C.  A complete check-in schedule will be mailed to your home address in early August.**

Getting to Main Campus

From Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Take WI-93 South to Centerville, WI.  Turn right onto WI-35/WI-54/Great River Road. Turn left onto WI-54, crossing into MN.  Turn right onto 4th Street.  Turn left onto Huff Street.  Go a few blocks and campus will be on your left.

From the Minneapolis/St. Paul area

Take US-52 South toward Rochester, MN.  Merge onto I-90 East toward LaCrosse, WI.  Take the MN-43 North exit, EXIT 252, toward Winona, MN.  Turn left onto MN-43 North.  Turn left onto MN-43 North/Homer Road.  Turn left onto Hwy 61.  Turn right onto Huff Street.  Go a few blocks, cross the railroad tracks, and campus will be on your right.

From the Madison/Milwaukee area

Take I-94 West.  Merge onto I-90 West toward Tomah/LaCrosse, crossing into MN.  Merge onto US-14/US-61 North via EXIT 269 toward Winona.  Turn right onto Huff Street.  Go a few blocks, cross the railroad tracks, and campus will be on your right.

From Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Take WI-93 South to Centerville, WI.  Turn right onto WI-35/WI-54/Great River Road. Turn left onto WI-54, crossing into MN.  Turn left onto 4th Street.  Turn right onto Franklin Street.  Go about 7 blocks.  East Lake will be on your left, just after you cross the railroad tracks.

From the Minneapolis/St. Paul area
