The dining hall is one of the most unique and incredible rooms at
WSU. Complete with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, high back chairs, and
long tables, the Residential College dining center provides enough character for
activities such as the yearly Madrigal Festival or the Lourdes Formal. |
The Lourdes Hall College Center
is a common area where the mailboxes, vending machines, and front desk
are located. In addition, there are recreational features to the
College Center. There are ping pong tables, video games, and a
projection television. Students also have many items available to
check out including movies, board games, vacuum cleaners, cooking
utensils, tools, and sports equipment.

The rooms of Lourdes Hall are spacious with plenty of head-room.
Most of the rooms in Lourdes Hall are single occupancy giving students added privacy and a
quiet place to study or relax; however, there are also many double occupancy rooms
available for those who prefer a roommate. |
There are 4 main floors to Lourdes hall. Each of the first three
floors have alcoves off a main hallway. Each alcove has 6-10 rooms providing
its own little community. Each floor has also has a lounge with stoves, microwaves,
ovens, refrigerators, and even a T.V. These lounges provide students a place to
prepare meals, study, or just to relax. |
Lourdes Hall adheres to the same policy as all other residence halls when
it comes to security. After 11pm, all residents must check into their hall by reciting
their social security number to a security guard at the entrance to the building. All
guests of the residents must also be signed in after 11pm. Guests must provide a
picture I.D. such as a Drivers License, or Student ID. All of the entrances to
Lourdes are locked and alarmed, except the college center entrance which is the only door
unlockable with the Residents keys. |
The Lourdes Hall Fitness Center is equipped with everything you need to
tone and build muscles to get you in shape. With all Nautilus equipment and two new
Stairmaster stepping machines, this facility is kept up-to-date for all of the residents'
enjoyment. Also setting Lourdes Hall apart from other residence halls, Lourdes Hall has
the added bonus of a very nice heated indoor swimming pool! Anyone interested in
swimming should definitely check out this residence hall feature. |
