Maria hall is primarily double rooms, with 93 double rooms, 7 singles, and 3 suites. Total occupancy of the hall has space for 239 students. The double rooms in Maria Hall are 11-5’ X 17-5’. Each double room is equipped with carpet, a sink, a window, cloth curtains, 2 large built-in closets, 1 built-in dresser, 2 built-in desks, 2 desk chairs, 2 night stands, 2 bed frames and mattresses, 2 medicine cabinets, a wastebasket, cable access and internet access.
The single rooms in Maria are equipped with carpet, a sink, a window, cloth curtains, 1 large built-in closets, 1 built-in dresser, 1 built-in desk, 1 desk chair, 1 night stand, 1 bed frame and mattress, 1 medicine cabinet, a wastebasket, cable access and internet access. The suites are equipped with carpet, cloth curtains, 1 large built-in closets, 1 built-in dresser, 1 built-in desk, 1 moveable desk, 2 desk chairs, 2 night stands, 2 bed frame and mattress, 1 full bathroom with 1 medicine cabinet, a wastebasket, cable access and internet access.
The lighting in the room is placed above the sink and above the desks. It is suggested that extra lighting be brought by students. The rooms are large enough for both students in the room to loft their beds. Lofts can be rented through Collegiate Services, for a fee of $75 per academic year. The mattresses in Maria Hall are 76” x 39”, which can accommodate regular twin sheets. |

| Lower Level |
The lower level of Maria Hall is based around large areas for studying and relaxing. There are 3 very large rooms that are equipped for many activities. One lounge is set up with tables and chairs, to provide for a quiet study area. Behind this area is an area with comfy chairs and a TV/VCR set to attend to during a study break. On the opposite side of the basement is a large carpeted study area with a large screen TV, pool table, and ping pong table, along with comfy chairs for relaxing. Students enjoy this recreation area, as it is very conducive for all activities and video parties.
Also located in the lower level of Maria Hall is the laundry facility. There are 7 washing machines and 7 dryers, along with a change machine where you can exchange $1, $5, $10, & $20 bills for quarters. Currently, it is $1.00 to wash, and $1.00 to dry.
The lower level is the ground level, which provides a direct exit to the Maria Hall Parking Lot. This is the door most commonly used for students who drive to and from campus

| Main Lounge |
The Main Level of Maria Hall is comprised of the main entrance to the building, along with the front desk, main lounge, and kitchen.
The Maria Hall front desk is located just inside the main entrance. This desk is open between 3 and 5 hours per day and staffed by student workers. During the night hours, the area is staffed by security guards. At the front desk, students can check out kitchen equipment, games, sporting equipment, tools, and equipment for the recreation tables in the lower level.
The main lounge of Maria Hall is a large open area with comfy couches for lounging, tables and chairs for studying, and large wall of windows for enjoying the view of the bluffs, and a fireplace. The main lounge is used for large group meetings, studying, and kickboxing classes. This area also holds the building printer, where students can pick up their printouts.
Just off the main lounge and behind the front desk are a smaller lounge and a kitchen area for cooking. The area has large counter space for preparing meals, a stove and oven for cooking, and a full-size refrigerator. This kitchen area is open for all residents of the building to use, 24 hours per day. |

| Floor Lounges |
| Each floor in Maria Hall has a floor lounge for residents to gather in. These lounges are often used for floor meetings, floor movie parties, and floor cook-outs. It is quite common that each lounge is decorated by students on the floors in accordance with a theme, such as a movie theatre or Hollywood stars. All floor lounges include a large utility sink, toaster, a small dorm fridge, a microwave, a TV/VCR and furniture for lounging. |
