It’s easy to gain leadership experience in the residence halls. You can get involved in hall council, floor governments and many other activities that help improve your leadership skills. You can also apply to be a Resident Assistant like I did. Being a resident assistant gives the opportunity to shape the lives of your residents and other students. The experiences I gained while being an RA are memorable and very valuable.
