B. Robert Rowley - URBS 3301 U.S. Cities as Settings for Cultural Pluralism (3 credits) from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for Different Cultures. R. Miller/R. Forsythe, M/S, to disapprove substitution. Motion passed.
V. Course/Program Proposal Subcommittee
A. MKTG 335 Tourism Marketing. Approved with a vote of 8 - 0 - 1.
B. MKTG 337 Qualitative Research Methods. Approved with a vote of 8 - 0 - 1.
Both courses were approved by A2C2.
VI. Points of Information
A. Jo Stejskal - requests that NURS 410 Nursing Care of the Aged be changed to NURS 497 due to NURS 410 already being assigned to Theoretical Foundations & Research for Advanced Nursing Practice.
B. Melanie Reap, Education - SPED 200 Human Exceptionality to be moved into the Different Cultures category for the Early Childhood; K-6, Pre-Primary; and K-6, Middle School Math programs.
C. Melanie Reap, Education - Under the K-6, Middle School Communication Arts program, the literature requirement currently may be satisfied by ENG 402 or EDUC 321. Due to prerequisites of ENG 402 that option is to be removed and students must take EDUC 321.
