Certified True Copies

A Certificated True Copy (CTC) is when a photocopy of an original document that has been testified as a true copy of an original document. 

The certification includes a fresh stamp, proper signatures, and date. 

In most countries, this certification is performed by a Notary.  However, Winona State University  International Services Office also accepts certifications performed by the school official where the certificate originates, or by a U.S. Advisor.

Documents that could be presented as CTC are:

• TOEFL
• SAT
• IELTS
• ACT
• High School Certificates
• University Transcripts

  Note:  Bank Statements must be original copies.  An CTC of this document is not accepted.
